0016 But KOrganizer is not only about your personal calendar, it can help you
0017 to interact with your colleagues and friends too.  With KOrganizer,
0018 you can invite anyone with an email address to an event and process responses,
0019 share a calendar (using a groupware server or simply a file over the network),
0020 and share events (eg.  the schedule of a championship or a conference), using
0021 the get hot new stuff framework.  KOrganizer is based on open standards,
0022 and works with many different group scheduling servers, giving you the control
0023 over your information and the freedom to choose the best solutions.

0025 KOrganizer is also the calendar, journal and to-do component of [Kontact](https://apps.kde.org/kontact/),
0026 offering you an integrated solution for your communication and information
0027 management needs: email, notes, contacts management, news reader and
0028 news feeds reader.  Even if you do not use it inside Kontact, KOrganizer is
0029 integrated with the other KDE PIM applications.  For instance, you can configure
0030 it to show birthdays from [KAddressbook](https://apps.kde.org/kaddressbook/) in your agenda,
