README for Calligra Suite
Calligra Suite is a collection of office applications linked together by a common base. This common base assures that all office application can work together and also share a common look and feel.
Calligra Suite is free software, mostly under LGPL 2+ but also under the GPL. See COPYING and COPYING.LIB for the details. See also copyright and licensing notices in individual files.

MS OOXML filters helper library for Calligra. Contains common code for XLSX, DOCX, PPTX filters for MS Office 2007.
References to the ECMA-376 specification in the source code are made by page number or chapter number. Page numbers are the physical PDF document's page numbers as displayed by the viewer.
The proper version of the specification document is "ECMA-376 2nd edition Part 1" (December 2008) [1]. It may not reflect the behaviour of MS Office 2007 but is of slightly higher quality than the 1st edition.

Overview
This library contains classes that are related to ODF but which are not used by any application or by any library in libs/. Most of the time this means that the classes are used by the filters, which is the reason why this library is placed here.

This directory contains the odf reader library.
The purpose of this library is to traverse the contents of an ODF file using so called XML stream reading. The library contains a recursive descent parser for ODF contents. At the time of this writing only an ODT parser is available but later we will provide parsers for all of the ODF document types. Much of the actual contents use the same XML elements so supporting a new document type is not a lot of work.
